William Joseph Copeland, 78, passed away on November 14, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.
Born on February 20, 1947, in Cisne, Illinois, William proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy aboard the USS Ingersol. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career in equipment rental and logistics, working with U-Haul, Lucas Equipment Rental, RSC, and United Rentals before retiring.
William is lovingly remembered by his wife, Patricia Copeland; daughter Bambi (Derrick) Walton; siblings Robert (Janice) Copeland and Jack Copeland, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Helen Copeland; his daughter Elaine Gonzalez, and his sister-in-law Karen Copeland.
He found great joy in traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Those who knew him will remember his generous spirit, outgoing nature, and kind heart.
