William E. Butterfield, III, 75, loving father and husband, died on Jan. 19, 2018. William was born in 1942 in Detroit, Michigan.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of 20 years, and a cross-country semi driver of 20 years before retiring.

William is survived by his spouse, Joanna, and two sons, William E. Butterfield, IV, and Joseph E. Butterfield, sisters, Mary E. Laue of Texas, and Barbara A. Pennington of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Butterfield, Jr., mother, Mary E. Butterfield, and brother, Kenneth L. Butterfield.
