Samuel Heredia, 77, was an extraordinary man of God who built his life from nothing and grew a family abundant in love. He served his community volunteering for the Sheriff’s department for many years, was deeply involved with the church and had a special talent to light up a room.

Though he used some tough love to raise children and grandchildren (and even great-grandchildren) to be responsible and hard-working, he had a contagious laugh and a sense of humor that enabled him to make anyone who met him instantly love him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Josie, his children Samuel Jr., Paul, Joel, and Anna, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends who adored him.

Services will be/ were held Saturday with friends and family.
