Rudolf Stolmayer

Rudolf "Rudy" Stolmayer passed away on his 82nd birthday, August 13, 2024 with family by his side. Rudy was born August 13, 1942 in Ruma, Yugoslavia to Marie and Martin Stolmayer. When he was seven years old, he and his family came to The United States by boat.
Raised in Akron, Ohio; Rudy met and married his true love, Ruth "Sue" Shoff. In 1975, Rudy moved his family to Huachuca City, Arizona where he resided until his passing.
Rudy enlisted and served 20 years in The United States Marine Corps. He served in the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Marines, he worked for The Civil Service for 20 years which was based out of Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Dad wasn't done working yet. His final career was as a Police Officer for the Huachuca City Police Department where he served for 20 years.
When dad finally retired, he and Mama purchased a RV to do some traveling. They enjoyed traveling to different places and especially going to Patagonia State Park to camp and go fishing.
Rudy is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth "Sue" Stolmayer, his parents, and his sister Mary Wolfe.
He is survived by his son, Rudy (Michelle) Stolmayer of Sierra Vista, Arizona, his daughter, Renee (Angel) Baldenegro of North Ogden, Utah and his brother, Josef Stolmayer of North Canton, Ohio.
Grandpa Rudy will be greatly missed by his grandchildren; Aaron Robles of Ogden, Utah, Alexander Anderson of Huachuca City, Arizona, Lacie Stolmayer of Huachuca City, Arizona, Samantha and Brandon Meza of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and great grand daughter Aerithe Robles of Utah.
Per dad's wishes, there will not be any services. His cremains will be spread at Patagonia State Park at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Jensen's Sierra Vista Mortuary.
