(Kaun) Brooks. She attended St. Patrick School and Bisbee High School, graduating in
1955. On January 2, 1955 she married Robert Butler. She and Bob were married for 55

Hereford and son, Kevin Butler of Henderson, Nevada, grandchildren Seanza and
Serena Butler of Henderson and Max Keller of Belgrade, Montana. Also surviving her
are brother Roger of Tucson, sister Karen of Bisbee, and brother, Gilbert of Elk Creek,
Rosalie worked as a bookkeeper for James Brophy for many years. She became
a real estate agent in 1973 and a broker in 1974. She owned and operated Bisbee
Realty, officially retiring on October 30th of this year.
Rosalie was a lifetime member of the Bisbee Woman’s Club and past president
of the Bisbee Chamber of Commerce. She served on the Board of Directors of the
Copper Queen Community Hospital for 37 years.
Rosalie was a generous, caring person who had a wonderful sense of humor and
loved having lunch and margaritas with her friends Lupe Silva and Lucinda Carberry.
She looked forward to “wine-thirty” so she could enjoy a glass of red wine. She will be
missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 2 at St. Patrick Church
in Bisbee. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Copper
Queen Community Hospital Foundation, 101 Cole Avenue, Bisbee, AZ 85603.
