Preston Charles Halsey, age 24, despite improvement to serious health concerns, passed away on December 19, 2018.
He was born July 18, 1994 in Tokyo, Japan, and was a senior student at the University of Arizona, a member of Phi Mu Alpha, and was completing studies in Information Systems Technology.
He was a passionate musician and a natural song writer, who actively supported Church of Christ youth events around the region and Filipino-American club organizational events.
Preston was completing an internship at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, with the Information Systems Engineering Command.
Preston shared his talents, humor and caring touch with all, without thought of reward.
Preston lived in Sierra Vista, Arizona for 11 years and is survived by his parents, Anthony and Prescilla Halsey, older sister Jamela Shannon, grandparents William and Doris Halsey of Sierra Vista, and many friends.
Services were held on Saturday, December 29 at Sierra Vista Church of Christ, 815 El Camino Real, Sierra Vista, AZ 85636.
