Paul Richard Koerber Jr

Paul Richard Koerber, Jr. was born Nov. 26, 1937 to Paul R. Koerber Sr. and Lois May Koerber and passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2017.

He was a devoted loving husband to Marcia Koerber for 60 years and a loving devoted father to Paul R. Koerber III (deceased), Edward Koerber, Marcia (Roger) Rust, Peggy (Paul) Newcomer, and Dorothy Koerber. He was a wonderfully devoted grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He touched the lives of every person he met, and spent every available moment working and playing with his family. He always had time for any child whether it was coaching Little League or teaching his grandchildren and neighborhood children about his trees. He came to Sierra Vista in 1956 when they reactivated the post and worked civil service for 28 years.

He will truly be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Jensen’s Mortuary, 5515 S. Hwy 92, with burial to follow at Cochise Memory Gardens.
