Patricia (Bossert) Phillips

Patricia Bossert Phillips passed away at the age of 90 on March 26, 2018 in Sierra Vista. Patricia was born October 23, 1927 to Theodore & Emily Bossert.

She graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where she met William Richard Phillips, a Captain in the U.S. Army and they married in 1949. Bill and Pat Phillips came to Sierra Vista in 1971 when Bill returned from Vietnam and was assigned to the U.S. Army Intelligence School.

They built their house in Pueblo Del Sol in 1976 upon Bill’s retirement from the Army after 34 years. Pat and Bill were married for 53 years until Bill passed in 2002. Pat was the model of a military wife and mother with all three sons having served in the Army.

She was a gracious and dignified woman with great love of family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Carol, sons: Bob (wife Valerie), Mike, and Tim; and two grandchildren by Tim (wife Teresa), Lisa (son-in-law Chase) and Chris. She was loved by all and greatly will be greatly missed.

Pat’s Service will be held at the Old Post Cemetery at Ft. Huachuca on April 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Those attending will be asked to meet behind the Widow Support Center to the right of the Old Main Gate for Ft. Huachuca at 9:30 to be escorted to the cemetery.
