Norma Cordero Obituary

Norma L. (Lori) Cordero of Sierra Vista, AZ passed away at home with her loving family by her side on August 31, 2017 sfrom complications from cancer. Lori was born in Lafayette, IN to Robert E. and Patricia A. (Hidy) Sullivan on Dec. 31, 1953.

Lori is survived by her life partner David Fitzpatrick, her daughter Caryn Cordero, her stepson Ryan (Amanda) Fitzpatrick, her brother J. Arthur (Christina) Sullivan, her sister, Jan (Matt) Clark, her brother Christopher (Kelley) Sullivan, her former husband Tito Cordero, Jr. and many loving relatives. Lori was predeceased by her mother Patricia A. Lynch, her father Robert E. Sullivan, her stepfather William G. Lynch, and her brother Wm. Richard Sullivan.

Lori is a proud patriot having served in the US Army for 12 years. She continued for 21 more years as support for soldiers in battle at the JITC in Fort Huachuca, AZ. Lori was loved and valued by her immediate and extended family and friends. David and Lori’s adventures brought them happiness for many years. Caryn’s selflessness of moving to AZ for her mother’s final months was special for Lori. Ryan’s daily communications and trips home brought joy during these difficult times.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Valor Hospice of Sierra Vista, AZ.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista, Arizona.
