Myron Donnelly, 52, was born in San Leandro, California on November 22, 1966, and succumbed to cancer May 13, 2019. yron loved playing in the Buena High School Band under the direction of Mr. Klein. Myron graduated from Buena High School.
He lived next door to Jim Mealy who was head of the Elks at the time and was head of the Arizona Rangers in Sonoita, Arizona. Jim invited Myron to join the Rangers, and Myron was quite happy to work at different functions for the Rangers like horse races, fairs, etc. Myron enjoyed the Rangers more than anything he had done so far. Myron received his Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. Myron Worked at the Department of Corrections in Douglas, Arizona until he was crippled by a condition known as Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN).
Myron is survived by his adoptive father, Michael Donnelly; his uncle, William Donnelly; cousin, Ellen Donnelly, David Donnelly, Doran Donnelly, Brian Donnelly, and Lisa Donnelly; and a kitty he loved dearly called Rascal.
Myron always considered his cousins as brothers and sisters.
A public viewing will be held on June 18, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Jensen’s Mortuary located at 5515 S Hwy 92.
Interment will be near Santa Nella, California.
