Morris Phillips

Morris Phillips passed away and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 13, 2024.
He was born in Wenatchee, Washington to Anetha and Joe Phillips on October 11, 1931. He graduated from Wenatchee High School. Morris entered the United States Air Force and served honorably for 4 years. Part of his tour of duty was spent in Korea. He met his former wife and had 3 children. He pursued a career in electrical engineering working for Boeing, and then for Honeywell until he retired as a microelectronics engineer in 1991.
He met his present wife Marge and moved from Seattle, Washington to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 1992. They loved traveling all over the world and enjoyed many interesting and enjoyable trips. He was an avid golfer and skier, and raced motorcycles. Morris could fix or repair anything and spent many hours in his workshop. He was active in his church.
Morris leaves behind Marge Phillips, his wife of 40 years, three sons; Mark, Brian (Sue), and Bradly Phillips; stepson, Lance Mayo; grandson Josh Phillips, and many great grandchildren.
Morris Phillips was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him.
A military service will be held in his memory on Monday, August 26th, at 11:00 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
