Mladen (Dan) Vucurevich, lifetime resident of Bisbee, Arizona, passed away quietly early Sunday morning, November 25, 2018.
Dan attended Bisbee High School and then volunteered for the Marine Corps. When he returned home, he started work for the Phelps Dodge Copper Corporation. He was called back into service during the start of the Korean War, after which Dan returned home to work at Phelps Dodge and to marry his high school sweetheart, Joyce Hanley. They were married for 62 years.
He is survived by his son Tim, his daughter-in-law Mary, his grandchildren Brennan and Kayte, three great-grandchildren Mila, Mladen and Eden, and his brother Pete and family.
He was proud to be Serbian and volunteered at the Church of St. Stephen Nemanja his entire life.
He loved his life, family, extended family, and all his lifelong friends!
The internment service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1.
Reception and refreshments to follow at the social hall of St. Stephen at 216 Park Avenue, Bisbee, Arizona.
