Michele (Stram) Tufts, 54, peacefully passed from our lives and joined her parents and daughter, Kaitlyn, in heaven on December 7, 2023. She was a beacon of warmth and strength.

Michele was born in Japan on August 28, 1969, to Wayne and Toni Stram and moved to Sierra Vista in 1976, graduating from Buena High School in 1987. Michele found enchantment in the magical world of Disney, where she cherished every moment. Her love for camping allowed her to embrace nature’s beauty, finding solace and creating treasured memories under the open sky. Her nurturing spirit touched everyone around her, and her ever-present smile brightened countless lives. Her devotion to family, friends and her animals was immeasurable, and as a Nurse for more than 20 years, her genuine care for others left a memorable mark on all who knew her. Michele will be greatly missed for her kindness and love that radiated from her heart.

She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength that will forever inspire. She is survived by her husband, Ross; children, Cody and Cheyenne; stepchildren, Megan and Dana; grandchildren, Emma Rose, Everly, Amelia, Elijah and Saylor; siblings, Chris, Mike and Jason; and all her nephews. We will cherish her memory and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
