Mary T. Netterfield of Sierra Vista, AZ. passed away, on June 01, 2025 at the age of 85.
She was the daughter of the late Roman and Josephine (Mastancek) Pnacek, born September 6, 1939. on a farm in Larkin County Midland, Michigan. She graduated from Midland High School and was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Larkin Midland, Michigan.
She married David J. Netterfield on January 25, 1958. They had seven children, Pamela Netterfield of Innisfail Alberta, Canada, David Netterfield II of Benton, Kentucky, Denise Fontaine of British Columbia, Canada, Diana Wilder of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Mark Netterfield of Big Piney, Wyoming, John Netterfield of Madison Heights, Virginia and Peter Netterfiled of Sierra Vista, Arizona.
She was active in the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Her hobbies included gardening, canning cake decorating, designing and making clothes for the porcelain dolls she made. She enjoyed attending a variety of craft classes.
Since moving to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 2017, she joined the Legion of Mary, Cochise County Curia, participated in the daily Rosary for the Unborn, volunteered at Care Net, Saint Vincent de Paul Food Bank and cleaning the main altar of her church, Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church located at 800 Taylor Drive, Sierra Vista, Arizona. 85635.
She is survived by her seven children, fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her sisters Helen Fitak and Irene Stec.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Roman and Josephine Pnacek, her siblings Susan Beck, Steven Pnacek, Emil Pnacek, Andrew Pnacek. Rose Fitak, Leo Pnacek, Daniel Pnacek, James Pnacek and Genevieve Wishowski.
The Funeral Mass will take place at Saint Andrews Catholic Church on June 9 at 10:30 AM. Recitation of the rosary will precede the mass at 10:15 am. Burial service immediately after the mass in the Saint Andrews Memorial Garden.
