Mary Jane Callison

On Wednesday, July 11, our mother, Mary Jane Callison, went home to be with the Lord Jesus. She had lived a long and fulfilled life. She was known for her faith, kindness and hospitality to all.

She appreciated beauty and found it in all things especially her family and friends. She was a teacher, a mentor and a friend.

A bookkeeper most of her life, she worked for a zoo, lumber companies and retired from KDAP radio station in Douglas, Arizona.

In addition she was active at Grace Lutheran church and a Sunday school teacher for over 30 years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Tom, in 1995. She is survived by three children: Carena (Kirt) Dodd, Cindy Callison, LeRoy (Christine) Callison; two sisters, Wilma More inside Ratliff and Gladys Holden; one brother-in-law, Roy (Mary Ann) Callison; many grandchildren and 1.5 great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Baptist Church, 1681 South Naco Hwy., Bisbee, AZ on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. Internment will be a private ceremony at a later date.
