Marvin H. Davis Born in Honeygrove, TX on October, 29, 1933 Died in Sierra Vista, AZ on May 9, 2018 at the age of 84 Marv died after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce M. Davis, daughter, Cindy Cleere, son, Glenn Davis, granddaughters, Cassie Levitt & her husband, David Levitt & Allie Gress & her husband, Toby Gress, grandson, Patrick Davis & his wife, Alexandria Davis, great granddaughters, Willow Gress & Emma Jo Levitt, great grandson, Tristan Davis, sister, Jaretta Markham & various aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
Marv was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherrie Jo Davis, mom, Nettie Davis, dad, Harley Davis, sister, Janetta Cumming, son-in-law Fred Cleere & various aunts & uncles.
Marv made his living as a carpenter with his own construction company in his early years & carpet layer/warehouse manager before he retired.
He was in Korea as an MP during the Korean war. He was an avid hunter & fisherman all his life. He enjoyed golf occasionally & liked sitting on the porch watching & identifying all the birds. He coached little league when his son Glenn was young & playing baseball & taught his daughter Cindy fast pitch in softball. His grandkids loved snuggling with him whenever possible, if just to watch westerns or baseball!
There will be no memorial or services, as family is so distant & scattered.

Marv was a much loved man by all who knew him, & will be missed terribly!
