Martha Suarez

Our beloved mother, Martha Campbell Suarez, 77, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2017. Martha was born in Naco, Sonora, Mexico and later became a U.S. citizen after moving to Naco, Arizona with her husband Alfredo.

Martha went on to obtain a degree from Central Arizona College in Early Care Child Development Education and became a daycare provider. Martha enjoyed life, reading historical fiction, gardening, sewing, and above all, spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her children and their spouses: Maria and James, Alfredo and Sharon, Hector and Sheli, and Judy and George; her siblings, Hector, Edna, Thelma and Dora; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Mass service will be conducted on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of the Mountains at 1425 Yaqui St., Sierra Vista, Arizona and will be followed by a brief reception at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Martha requested that either a donation be made to a cancer charity of your choice, or live flowers or plants be sent to the church, which will be planted in the church garden.
