HEREFORD—Lynwood Maurice Mills, 81, passed away peacefully Tuesday June 6, 2023 in Sierra Vista Arizona, from heart related issues, surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by daughter Theresa Laney, son Gary Mills, sister Louise Mataya and husband Jay, brother in law Patrick Brewer, grandsons Jeremy Laney and Jacob Laney, three great grandchildren, and many lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Ruth Ann Mills, sister Janice Brewer, and parents Claude & Edna Mills.

Lynwood was born in Flint Michigan on July 31, 1941, to a loving family, later coming to Arizona in 1985. He was a faithful lifelong christian who loved his family and his church.

Lynwood is being cremated and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Sierra Springs Church in Hereford Arizona on Father’s Day, Sunday June 18, 2023 at 1:00pm.
