Linda Gail Graham, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2026, in Hereford, Arizona.

Linda was born June 15, 1946, in Amarillo, Texas, where she grew up before a life of moves took her to California, the Philippines, Spain, Virginia, and eventually Arizona. She adapted everywhere she went and made the most of every place she lived.

She earned a BS in Early Childhood Education from Texas Christian University and a MS in Special Education from Old Dominion University. She spent her career teaching Special Education and Pre-School everywhere she lived and eventually retired from Norfolk Public Schools.

Her interests were vast, but if there was one thing she had a passion for, it was genealogy. She spent years tracing family history, digging through records, and making sure the family's story wasn't lost.

She also had a soft spot for small dogs that nobody else wanted. Much to the dismay of those around her, she had a habit of rescuing them, giving them a home, and spoiling them. The dogs were lucky she came along.

She is survived by her four sons: Jon Graham (and Christi Graham) of Hereford, AZ; James Graham (and Peg Graham) of Chesapeake, VA; Joel Graham of Sterling, VA; and Jeffrey Graham of Norfolk, VA. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren (with one more on the way), and her beloved rescue, Roxie.
