Lawrence G. Moheit passed away January 10, 2019 from cancer. Born in Hanover, New Hampshire on November 7,1951, Larry was the third born of seven children to Ozwald and Eileen (Menendez) Moheit. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York and Southern California.
Larry moved to Arizona in the seventies and found himself working for Patio Pools.
In 1985, he married Linda Dietrich and soon after had two girls, Miranda and Amelia.
In 1991, he opened Sunlit Pools and started building pools throughout Sierra Vista and surrounding cities. It was in his work that he found his passion. Over the years, people noticed he was a perfectionist in his craftsmanship and business grew. Larry regretted that he was forced to retire early due to illness.
However, Larry’s biggest passion was his family and he excelled as a husband, father, and grandfather. He raised his daughters with the same integrity, work ethic, and values he lived by. He was blessed with his two granddaughters, Lucy and Penny, who brought him joy in his retirement years.
Larry is deeply missed by his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 19, 2019, with a 2 p.m. mass at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church followed by a reception in the hall.
