Laroy, “Lee”, Hinzman was born in Spring Valley Wisconsin, September 4, 1932. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on April 28, 2017.
Lee is survived by his wife of 47 years, Wilma, their five children, Michael, Laura, Ruth (David), Amy (Dave), and Jim (Cindy), five grandchildren, Brittney, Jesse, Emily, Torrey, and Kelsey, and four great-grandchildren, James, Makayla, Elias and Jacob, who preceded Lee in death.
Lee served in the US Army and later lived in California. He retired from Coca Cola after twenty-nine years. Lee and Wilma enjoyed camping with the Good Ol’ Boys and Girls Camping Group of San Diego, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. After retirement, Lee and Wilma moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona.
They became active members of several service organizations; the Lions Club, the American Legion and the Elk’s Lodge/ BPOE 2065, where Lee was a Lifetime Member. Lee will be interned at the Veteran’s Cemetery on May 8th at 2:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at the Elk’s Lodge, 1 Elks Lane, Sierra Vista, AZ
