Kelly Gene George

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Kelly Gene George, 62, of Sierra Vista, AZ peacefully passed away at home on June 1, 2018.

He was born in Sinton, TX on October 6, 1955 to Loren and Emma George. He lived in Portland, TX until graduating from Gregory-Portland High School in 1974 where he was a four year member of the band and Drama club. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Navy serving proudly as an Electronics Technician First Class.

Kelly is survived by his wife of 21 years, Marjorie Lane-George; 3 children, Vicki Williams, Sarah Crisp and Michael Thomas: and 6 grandchildren, Eric and Tyler Schultz, Trinity, Trenton and Ester Thomas and Brent Williams. Further survivors include siblings Ron George, Karla (George) Mills and Wesley George, 6 nephews and 6 nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Nicholas Thomas.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial Service will be held at Sierra Springs Church on Friday at 4 pm.
