Joseph Nicholas Stilchen was born in Maple Shade New Jersey to Michael and Helen Stilchen on November 16, 1935.
While working at PhilcoFord, he met the love of his life Madeline Petroff. They were married on December 1, 1962 and spent 61 years together raising two boys, Joseph B. (Tanya), Kenneth M (Barbara) and one Girl Tracey M. Bradley (Scott). They also have five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Joseph retired from the US Army in 1985 after serving 22 years. He also retired from the civil service on Fort Huachuca after many years of service. He will be laid to rest at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
