Joseph Anthony Laggan

Joseph Anthony Laggan, 91, of Hereford passed away on Jan. 21, 2018 at Via Elegante Assisted Living. Born in DuPont, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Mary and Edward Laggan.

Joseph was a WWII Navy veteran who served his country honorably aboard the USS New Orleans.

Joseph raised his family in Washington, New Jersey and retired from Hoffman La Roche in Belvidere, New Jersey before moving to Hereford 20 years ago.

His wife Zita Golden Laggan and his son Edward "Special Ed" Laggan, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter Genni Laggan of Huachuca City, and his son Joseph Laggan of Tooele, Utah, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews, and friends.

All loved him very much and will miss him dearly.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Jensen's Sierra Vista Mortuary, South Hwy 92, Sierra Vista.

Services will be held at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista at 12 noon on Jan. 25, 2018.
