John Thomas Lang Jr., born April 18, 1945, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, in Belton, Texas. He was 80 years old.
John Thomas Lang Jr. was a dedicated family man and a respected member of his community. Throughout his life, he remained committed to the values of hard work, integrity, and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to know him. He was a proud retired Army Veteran, who served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lang, a devoted partner throughout his lifetime. They shared many years of marriage built on mutual respect and affection.
John was a proud father to five children: John Lang III, married to Joyce; Eric Martin; Craig Martin; Jennifer Dunn, married to Brad; and Jason Hanisko, married to Heather. His family was the foundation of his life, and he cherished his time with each of them.
His legacy continues through his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride throughout his later years.
John’s passing marks the conclusion of a well-lived life characterized by dedication to family and community. His memory will be honored and treasured by all who were fortunate to know him.
John's internment will be in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. In lieu of flowers or food the family requests donations be made to your local VFW or Cancer Society.
