Jimmy Don Ashworth

Jimmy Don Ashworth left this world on March 30, 2018. He was 51. He was born July 13, 1966 in Brawley, CA. Jimmy grew up in Bullhead City, Arizona and graduated from Mohave High in 1984.

He joined the United States Army in 1986 and served for eight years. Jimmy lived in various places including Germany, Washington, DC and Laughlin, NV before settling in Sierra Vista in 2008.

Jimmy held various jobs after his military career including casino security and Instructor on Fort Huachuca. His most recent position was with Raytheon at DSDC.

In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and watching the Miami Dolphins games. He also enjoyed trying new recipes and cooking techniques; those who got to enjoy his culinary skills were never disappointed.

The light of Jimmy’s life was his son Scott.

He is survived by his son Scotty Ashworth, ex-wife Elizabeth (Dee) Phillips, and numerous friends. Visitation will be held at Jensen’s Funeral Home in Sierra Vista, AZ on Thursday April 19, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The service and internment will be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, AZ on Friday April 20, 2018 at 10:00 am.
