Homer Cecil Burchwell, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on April 26, 2026 at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Homer was born in Kentucky and married the love of his life, Kathryn Czachorowski in 1960. He lived in their family home in Sierra Vista for the past 57 years. Homer was a devoted and loving husband, a dedicated and caring father, and a grandfather and great- grandfather to many. Homer served his country proudly for 22 years in the US Army and retired as a Master Sgt.

Homer will be remembered for his kind ways and left lasting impressions on all he met. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Homer is survived by his two daughters, Gayle Zehr (Michael) and Karen Boroski (Roman); his son, Craig Burchwell (Karen); his grandchildren, Christopher, Christina, Stephanie, Lydia, Sarah, Teresa, Diana and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn, his parents and his only brother.
