Fred Charles Madden

Our loving father, Fred Charles Madden, 88, passed away at home, in his sleep, on Dec. 16, 2017. He was a lifetime resident of Bisbee and was employed by Phelps Dodge Corp for 37 years.

Fred is preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and grandson, Ryan Billhartz. He is survived by his children: Marilyn and Kent Billhartz, of Sahuarita, Shari Madden, of Tucson, Fred Madden Jr. and Bridget, of Bisbee, and Martin Madden, of Tucson; his grandchildren: Daniel Walton, of Georgia, Stephen and Emily Madden, of Phoenix, Julie Walton and Joshua Mayne, of Tucson, Nikki Madden, of Bisbee, Nathan and Christima Billhartz, of Tucson, Michael and Reyes Madden, of Oklahoma, and Matt Madden, of Tucson, Brandi Madden, of Tucson; and 11 great-grandchildren.

At Fred's request, there will be no services.
