Eugene M. Allmon, 90, entered into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 14, 2017, at his home near McNeal, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Aurora, Missouri on December 4, 1927 to Willis and Mildred (Willhite) Allmon.
Mr. Allmon served in Avionics in the United States Air Force during Occupation Japan from 1946 to 1949. He was a Master Welder working on gas and oil pipelines throughout United States.
Mr. Allmon had four passions of his life – faith, family, flying and Christian Missions to Mexico.
Eugene was preceded in death by daughter, Linda, and son, James. He is survived by Ima Jean (Jones) Allmon, wife of 71 years; six daughters: Patricia Miller (Norm), Betty Gavin (Tom), Jane Wright, Jo Johnson (Alan), Peggy Mock (Mark) and Barb LaVallie (Tom) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Homegoing Celebration will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the Bisbee Assembly of God Church in Bisbee, Arizona at 1:00 p.m. and internment at the Evergreen Cemetery in Bisbee at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be sent to the family at 7570 N. Frontier Road, McNeal, Arizona, 87617.
