Dixie Lynn (Lynas) Fields

Dixie Lynn Fields was born in Tucson Arizona on December 18, 1950 to Rachel Doris and Merrill Lynas.

She was married at the age of 17 and gave birth to her first child Rick, a week before her 19th birthday. At 22, she gave birth to her 2nd child a girl, Tammy Lyn. She moved from Whetstone Az. To North Carolina where she lived for a number of years. When she was visiting her mother in Whetstone Az. In 1992, she met the love of her life, David Fields. After returning to North Carolina, she was co-erced into returning to Arizona with a promise from David. She married David on May 29, 1993 and gained another daughter Tamara Lynn Fields.

Dixie had a calmness about her but was quick to speak her mind when she felt the need. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren but most of all, she loved the Lord. She loved to spend time on her boat and fish with friends and family. She followed her own path in life and did what she needed to do in support of herself and her family. She spent the last day of her life doing what she loved to do and that was on the lake, fishing with her children and having a great day.

She is survived by her husband David Fields and children, Tammy Marble (Mark), Rick Alexander (Candi), Tamara Tyree (Robb), grandchildren Mikael Holmes, Danielle Alexander, Caden Marble, Corden Tyree, Irenah Tyree, as well as many close nephews, nieces, and step grand children.

She will be sorely missed by all, especially by her husband and family.
