Delora Ann Evans

Delora Ann Evans, 79, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on July 23, 2017. Delora was born on December 29, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois.

She graduated from Wheaton College and became a school teacher until her retirement. Delora was married to Kenneth D. Evans for seven and a half years. Their marriage vows were, “each for the other, and both for the Lord.” Delora took great joy in playing the violin for the Praise Team at Sierra Springs Church.

Delora is preceded in death by her parents, Merrill Curtis Davis and Ruth Genevieve Albaugh. She is survived by her son, James Jennings, who lives in the Philippines; her daughter, Julia Jennings-Burquist, from Washington state; her brother, Paul Davis; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Delora will be dearly missed by her family and her brothers and sisters in Christ.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Dr. John Evans at Sierra Springs Church, 8477 E. Hereford Rd., Hereford, AZ.
