DAVID LEWIS CURTIS

David Lewis Curtis passed away October 7, 2023, Whetstone Arizona at the age of 91 years. He was born in Waterbury, Ct. June 11, 1932 to the late Lewis William Curtis and Edith Sorensen Curtis.
David was a resident of Cheshire, and lifelong member of the Prospect Congregational Church where he was custodian for many years. He was two time commander of the Prospect VFW 76-78. He was a member of the American Legion and a long time volunteer of the Prospect Fire Dept. He served in the U.S. Army in the Germany during the German Occupation.
David was the owner of Curtis Cleaning Service and an avid Flea Market fan, being known as “Dave the Camera Man” at Flea Market at the crossing in Plainville, CT.
Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Sorensen Curtis and Jonathan William Curtis. He is survived by his brother Robert Davey Curtis, of Clinton CT. and his sister Nancy Curtis Drouin of Whetstone AZ. And several nieces and nephews.
