Danie Smith Vannoy

Danie "Dee" S. Vannoy Jr. was born on May 20, 1945 in Glade Springs, Virginia and passed away on June 7, 2024 at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by his parents, Danie Vannoy Sr and Susie Lucile Rogers, stepfather Ed Rogers and his sister, Peggy Parker-Barnes. Dee is survived by his wife of 50 years, SueAnn Vannoy and his three children John (Debbie) Vannoy, Danielle (Steve) Leyshon and Jessica Vannoy. He has four grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Ian and Ellie. Dee retired after 30 years with the City of Sierra Vista. He then pursued his life-long passion for hunting in many states and enjoyed many adventures along the way, even becoming an excellent gunsmith. Dee was also a member of Huachuca #53 Masonic Lodge and became past master in 1988. He was an extraordinary man who will be greatly missed by all.
