Cheryl Leann White
06/17/1963 - 10/28/2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Cheryl, at the age of 62. She left us on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with sepsis and various other infections. Born on June 17, 1963, Cheryl faced numerous challenges throughout her life, particularly in her later years as a quadriplegic; however, she faced each day with unwavering strength, resilience, and a spirit that inspired everyone around her.
Despite her struggles, Cheryl was a beacon of love and determination. She had a remarkable ability to connect with others, often bringing joy and comfort to those in her presence. Her compassion extended beyond her own struggles, as she was the dotting “Aunt Cheryl” to all her nieces and nephews. Moreover, her senser of humor played a critical part in solidifying long-term friendships such as the ones with her co-workers and with her nurse, who provided for her medical needs on a daily basis.
Some of Cheryl’s most cherished hobbies and activities included playing an active part in Racing Radios by ensuring that Nascar drivers had clear communications with their pits. Some of her hobbies included jewelry sales, most notably oyster shucking for pearls by hosting pearl parties online. Cheryl also dedicated a considerable amount of time towards her family and friends by providing emotional support to those who were hurting and financial support even though she had very little money herself. Everyone knew that they could count on her support in whatever manner that was needed.
Cheryl is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Marion, Paul her older brother and two sisters – Gale and Linda; all who will deeply miss her warmth, laughter, and wisdom. Her legacy of courage and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Cheryl’s life will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 with visitation at Jensen’s Sierra Vista Mortuary, 5515 S. Highway 92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85650 from 4pm to 7pm. A funeral Mass, rosary, and graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10am at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church at 800 Taylor Dr., Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. The graveside service will be followed by a gathering of family and friends in the parish hall.
Rest in peace, dear Cheryl. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
