Beloved wife and mother, Cheryl Dianne Wagner, age 70, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona.
Cheryl attended Arizona State University and Stanford, studying dance and theater. Afterwards, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked in the television industry for a brief time, including an appearance on the show “Laugh-In.” She subsequently worked in display and became the fashion coordinator at Broadway stores.
Following her marriage to Robert in 1971, she and Robert raised their three children, Sarah, Leah, and David. During this time she also taught English in the United Arab Emirates and was the mentoring coordinator at Cibola High School in Yuma, Arizona.
She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, and she had a sweet spirit. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cole, and her mother, Marjorie Cole.
She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Wagner, Jr., her sister Tracy Cole, her step-brother Steve Wolf, her step-mother, Jan Cole, and her three children and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Sierra Vista Community United Church of Christ on March 22, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at the Southern Arizona Memorial Cemetery.
Flowers are welcomed, but donations to the Huntington Disease Society of America (www.hdsa.org) are also appreciated.
