Cathy Marie Hinkle was born on July 13, 1960, to Flora Mae Keppel and Charles Irwin Keppel in Jamestown, NY. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cathy was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Over the course of her life she called New York, California, Texas, and Arizona her home.

Cathy enjoyed working in child development and customer service. She went back to college in her late 50’s obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She used her light to love others well and never met a stranger. Cathy was the true embodiment of “Love your Neighbor, as yourself,” Mark 12:31. She enjoyed camping, traveling, reading Amish Novels, and volunteering with the Friends of the Library.

Cathy will be incredibly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Gordon Dean Fox, her sister, Linda Muscato (Chuck), her brother Doug Keppel (Marcy), her three daughters: Cara Ann Sanchez (Paul), Brooke Lynn Robles (Roberto), Dacia Marie Whitaker (Harrison), and a stepson, Jeffrey Lynn Hinkle Jr. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Cathy was preceded in death by her previous husband, Jeffrey Lynn Hinkle Sr. and her parents, Flora Mae Keppel and Charles Irwin Keppel.

A Celebration of Life will be held for close family in the coming days.
