Cathi Marlene Rumbaugh

Cathi Marlene Rumbaugh was born in Texas on March 17,1953 and entered into her eternal rest on January 5, 2019.

She often described herself as being born in the years of the “baby boomers.”She grew up as the oldest of five children in a very strict Catholic family.

In later years she became a member of the Mountain View Assembly of God Church when she moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona. At Mountain View she participated in the role of the biblical character Elizabeth in the annual outdoor Christmas drama - “Walk Thru Bethlehem”.

She also served as a devoted member and author with the Women of Grace Writers. Even though Cathi was disabled, she faithfully volunteered with the Life Care Center and Salvation Army meal preparation ministries. Cathi loved the Lord and promised at her baptism in 2003 to walk as a disciple of Jesus Christ and to show His love to those she would meet wherever she went.

She found special joy in sharing that love with those she met during her numerous rides on the local bus around town.

A special celebration of life to remember Cathi is scheduled at The Salvation Army Chapel, 180 E. Wilcox Dr. on Saturday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m.

Attendees will have special time to express their sentiments and share stories of how Cathi touched so many lives.
