Caron S. Turner
01/24/1948 - 04/24/2024
Caron Turner, beautiful wife and mother, passed away peacefully at home in Sierra Vista on April 24, 2024, surrounded by her husband and daughters.
Caron was born on January 24, 1948 in Newnan, Georgia, and lived in a variety of locations with her family through the years. She lived in Sierra Vista for the past 6 years, and loved the mountains and high desert region.
Caron was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary and administrative assistant at different times in her life. She loved to sing, and she sang in several church choirs through the years. After moving to Sierra Vista in 2018, she became a member of the Sierra Vista Community Chorus, and she truly loved the group and performing with them. She was a dedicated Christian who always said she looked forward to singing in the Heavenly choirs.
In addition to singing, Caron also loved camping, travel, reading, and music. When asked what brought her joy, she always said “my family”.
She is survived by her husband, F. Alan Turner, by her daughters Marianne Baker and Sara Turner, and by her brother Sidney and sisters Alice and Nona. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
As per her wishes, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org).
