Loretta King 

March 17, 1939 - January 16, 2024

SIERRA VISTA— Loretta King passed away on January 16, 2024 at Healing Hearts in Sierra Vista. Her family announced her death. Loretta was born in Owensboro, Kentucky in 1939 to Sarah and Arnold Hazelwood.

Loretta had many talents. She was a great painter and sold many paintings in Sierra Vista. She loved to play her guitar. She also worked with her sister (Billie) for many years as a flower designer. Loretta was always a good listener being a bartender at Ramada and the Windemere. Her greatest joy was her family and her favorite dogs, Buddy, Lady and Magic. They all were very special and very much loved and spoiled. She loved the casino and bingo and was usually pretty lucky. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her seven children, Felicia, Gail, Johnny, Sammy, Deborah, Twilynn and Sabrina and many, many grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on January 22, 2024 at Jensen’s Sierra Vista Mortuary, 5515 S. AZ-92. A celebration will follow at 1:00 pm at Urbano.
