Ross Grimaud passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on December 31, 2018 in Sierra Vista, Arizona. He was born January 9, 1939 in Coronado, California to Beatrice and Lewis Grimaud. He was raised there with his brother, sister, and many cousins.

He graduated from Coronado High School in 1957. He then served in the Air Force in Germany until he was honorably discharged in 1964. Ross came back home to Coronado where he enjoyed working in the shipyards.

He married Carol in 1988 and in the early 90s they moved to Sierra Vista. They were foster parents for many years until Carol’s passing in 2006. Together they changed lives.

Ross enjoyed nature, playing dominos, making people laugh, family, and most of all, his grandchildren. They were the light of his life. He will truly be missed.

Ross is survived by three daughters, Nova (Greg) Hulson, Randi Coleman, Julie Coleman; three foster daughters, Stephanie Ochoa, Anna (RJ) Diola, Yvette (Manual) Ortega, and many more; 10 grandchildren, Kristina (Chris), Ashley (Brandon), Justin (Sarah), Tyler, Jonathan, Halley, Randy, Jordan, Manual Jr., Lizet; and one great grandson, Nicholas; along with cousins, friends, and all who loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m on Saturday, January 26th at Jensen Mortuary, 5515 S. Hwy 92, Sierra Vista, Arizona 85650.

Following the service, there will be a potluck reception at Bonita Vista Apts Clubhouse, 570 S. Coronado Drive, Sierra Vista, Arizona 85635
